Going
Green. Ever consider the economic implications of environmental awareness? Studies
have found that environmental consciousness is increasing. Sixty nine percent
of the general public believes that environmental issues have some impact on
their lives (Schlegelmilch). This increase in environmental
awareness has had many environmental effects as well as economic effects on the
supply and demand in the agriculture industry. This blog is designed to examine
eleven different economic effects of going green.
